BLOOD FESTIVAL DAY

On the morning of July 18, 2015, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, the Steering Committee of Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign in Quang Ngai province coordinated with the Red Journey 2015 Organizing Committee of the South to organize the launching ceremony of blood donation festival with topic "Pink drops of the sea". The program attracted more than 1,000 volunteers, union members and young people in Quang Ngai province to participate in blood donation.
 
   Speaking at the launching ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman Le Quang Thich emphasized: Donating blood to save people is a noble gesture of every person to the community, especially those who unfortunately need blood. In recent years, Quang Ngai province has made great efforts in propaganda and mobilized the entire population to participate in blood donation to save people. Particularly in 2014, Quang Ngai mobilized and received over 8,000 blood units, meeting 100% of emergency and treatment needs for patients.

   This is the third year the Red Journey Program is held in 22 provinces and cities with 120,000 people and more than 15,000 local volunteers. In Quang Ngai, the Program attracted over 1,000 volunteers, union members and young people in Quang Ngai province to participate in blood donation. It is estimated that the amount of blood collected is 15,000 units.
